  1. Robin Frisch (robin.frisch{at}fes.de) is a PhD student at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in the history of the CFA franc in West Africa, focusing on Togo and Cameroon. His research covers everyday life perspectives on money, the French colonial monetization of the CFA, and the history of criticism surrounding the currency. He holds master’s degrees in political sciences from Sciences Po Lille and the University of Münster, and in African studies from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
